Takhlakh Lake
Takhlakh Lake
About the Print
This watercolor painting came to life on the shores of Takhlakh Lake in Washington. Mt. Adams makes itself known in a big way under the starlight of the Milky Way overhead.
The Canvas Duffel
If a chameleon could transfigure into a bag, it would probably look something like this. Yeah, that sounds kinda weird but hear us out.
Use it as your international carry-on travel companion, pack your harness, draws, and snacks and take it to the climbing crag, load it with your laptop, lunch, and workout gear and rock it as your daily commuter - the Canvas Duffel adapts to whatever environment you can throw at it.
With a bottom panel that unzips and stows away to reveal an ergonomic backpack harness, the duffel surprised even us on the FRE team at the number of activities we use it for. Include some absolutely gorgeous artwork and you have the most functional, versatile, and beautiful duffel in existence. Yeah, we’re not biased at all.
The Canvas Series
The Canvas Series is a Free Range collaboration with artists who live to get lost in the mountains. A portion of each sale goes directly back to the artist who painted/illustrated/imagined your print.
Made in Vietnam.

Care Instructions
Care Instructions
First and foremost, your pack requires daily walks and adventures in order to maintain its well-being. And if you uphold these responsibilities, you may notice a light yet persistent layer of grubbiness form on the vibrant colors of your pack. When this happens, it may be time to give it the ol' scrub-a-dub. We've put together a short instructional video for your entertainment. Please enjoy.
- Remove backpad.
- Use any "grease" removal laundry detergent (here we use Spray & Wash with great success). Apply directly on pack or onto a rag or sponge and scrub vigorously over any dirty areas.
- Let the detergent soak in for about 5 minutes.
- Toss in the laundry. We recommend using hot water and then just not showering for a couple days to make up for it.
- Voila!

Love the design and the quality!
I absolutely love my Baker and Sisters duffel. It’s roomy and versatile, and I get all the compliments when I carry it. Best purchase I have made in a long time.
We got a duffle and a backpack and lived them on a recent trip to the Adirondacks. Durable, beautiful, and simple!
We love all of our Free Range bags. We have two totes, two duffels, two phannies, and a backpack. The uniqueness of each one (they are downright gorgeous) and the functionality of them make them the perfect option for heading to the office or going on a trip. I would recommend to anyone that I talk to. Thanks Free Range for adding so much style to my days!
Trick question! It's ALL FOUR! I've had my duffel for 2 months and use it nearly every day. Why? Because you never know what adventures the day will bring, it's THAT versatile. My duffel has thus far been used thusly: always ready for climbing gym, cold plunging, and a trail run; day of swapping between resort skiing, in-bounds ski touring, and working from the ski lodge; 5-day work + fun trip (office, running + bike stuff all fit!); 4-day trip to gravel bike camp where it also served as my day bag; and it seriously is always ready to go... I drive around town with my FRE Phanny, FRE Tote, and FRE Duffel and have to giggle at myself for having so much FUN in one place :)
This duffel is simply designed, beautiful and functional. Construction and quality is impeccable. Carry it with the shoulder strap, handles or sleek conversion to a backpack. Two handy end pockets are generously sized though I use to store my small essentials (wallet, hair thingy, chapstick, snacks). Two inner side pockets are great to separate the wet or sweaty things from the things I have yet to get wet or sweaty that day.
Love it. Wish I could buy more than one but I will just have to buy them as gifts for people I love instead :)
