Christina Russell is a homegrown artist from Bend,Oregon who loves to spend her time on the rivers and in the mountains. She's a jack of all trades and will happily fix anything with duct tape and elbow grease. She's only 100 pounds but don't let that fool ya. She has paddled professionally as a whitewater kayaker, enjoys kiteboarding and snowkiting in the front (and backcountry), and routinely disappears for multi-day rafting and backpacking trips with family. Of course, the paintbrushes come along on her adventures...

When it comes to art, she has been making an art mess since she was a kiddo. Her first truly disastrous mess was a pile of 200 melted crayons on the car seat (sorry mom and dad). Now she makes a mess with paints as an adult (minus the melted crayons). Her specialty is watercolor and ink because the tools fit well in her drybag and of course, she likes to play with water. When not painting or adventuring, she works as a kayaking instructor on the Deschutes River and is a seasoned Registered Nurse specializing in Wound Care.

Christina is currently showing her work in galleries, selling prints and originals on her ETSY shop, and collaborating with companies in the outdoor industry to create wearable art. Look for her big smile on the water and don't forget to wave!
