About the Print
The Canvas Tote
It’s just a bag with handles you say?
Not this tote.
The Canvas Tote was born with purpose: to fit all the vegetables you could ever need from the farmers market, to carry the entire charcuterie board and a pack of sparkly water to the lake, to transport towels, bathing suits and sunscreen for the whole famm damily to the beach.
All in impeccable style.
Ok maybe it is just a bag with handles, but jeez it does a darn good job of it.
The Canvas Series
The Canvas Series is a Free Range collaboration with artists who live to get lost in the mountains. A portion of each sale goes directly back to the artist who painted/illustrated/imagined your print.
Made in Vietnam.

Care Instructions
Care Instructions
First and foremost, your pack requires daily walks and adventures in order to maintain its well-being. And if you uphold these responsibilities, you may notice a light yet persistent layer of grubbiness form on the vibrant colors of your pack. When this happens, it may be time to give it the ol' scrub-a-dub. We've put together a short instructional video for your entertainment. Please enjoy.
- Remove backpad.
- Use any "grease" removal laundry detergent (here we use Spray & Wash with great success). Apply directly on pack or onto a rag or sponge and scrub vigorously over any dirty areas.
- Let the detergent soak in for about 5 minutes.
- Toss in the laundry. We recommend using hot water and then just not showering for a couple days to make up for it.
- Voila!

About the Artist
Claire Loon Baldwin is a writer, designer, and natural science illustrator based in Maine, specializing in watercolor botanicals and biodiverse landscapes. Her art is informed by her background working in state and national parks across the US.
In 2018, Claire created Grand Canyon National Park's centennial poster series, and since then, she's continued to create environmentally-centered art with prominent clients including DK Publishing and Penguin Random House, Down East Magazine, and the Boston Globe. She also works with environmental nonprofits and sustainably-minded companies, and teaches workshops that weave together art and ecology.
This year Claire journeyed to Northeastern Greenland to create a first-hand illustrated account of the intrepid scientists living and working at the Zackenberg Research Station. In this world without roads, polar bears, arctic wolves, and musk oxen roam wild under the midnight sun. A small team of dedicated scientists have journeyed to Zackenberg, the ends of the earth in every sense of the phrase, to study 2,000 climate data variables and gain critical insight into the global climate's future. Claire is working on a children's book that offers a glimpse into the life of scientists working at the ends of the earth.
