About the Print
This little mountain here is James Peak! If you've ever skied in Northern Utah, chances are you've seen this beauty covered in snow. But personally? I think she's even better dressed in grass and wildflowers.
Hiking to the summit rewards you with incredible 360-degree views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. It's one of those places you really have to experience for yourself.
A little trail advice, though… you might get lost. It might get dark. Your phone might die, leaving you without a flashlight. And suddenly, your peaceful mountain hike becomes a real special adventure.
Not speaking from experience or anything.
The Canvas Tote
It’s just a bag with handles you say?
Not this tote.
The Canvas Tote was born with purpose: to fit all the vegetables you could ever need from the farmers market, to carry the entire charcuterie board and a pack of sparkly water to the lake, to transport towels, bathing suits and sunscreen for the whole famm damily to the beach.
All in impeccable style.
Ok maybe it is just a bag with handles, but jeez it does a darn good job of it.
The Canvas Series
The Canvas Series is a Free Range collaboration with artists who live to get lost in the mountains. A portion of each sale goes directly back to the artist who painted/illustrated/imagined your print.
Made in Vietnam.

Care Instructions
Care Instructions
First and foremost, your pack requires daily walks and adventures in order to maintain its well-being. And if you uphold these responsibilities, you may notice a light yet persistent layer of grubbiness form on the vibrant colors of your pack. When this happens, it may be time to give it the ol' scrub-a-dub. We've put together a short instructional video for your entertainment. Please enjoy.
- Remove backpad.
- Use any "grease" removal laundry detergent (here we use Spray & Wash with great success). Apply directly on pack or onto a rag or sponge and scrub vigorously over any dirty areas.
- Let the detergent soak in for about 5 minutes.
- Toss in the laundry. We recommend using hot water and then just not showering for a couple days to make up for it.
- Voila!

About the Artist
Sara Austin is a Utah-based artist with a soft spot for wild places, unruly wildflowers, and taking the long way home. Armed with colored pencils, wood panels, and an occasional splash of neon, she creates artwork inspired by the wonderfully unpredictable American West.
Having spent much of her childhood wandering mountain trails, exploring the backcountry, and collecting more outdoor stories than she can count, Sara developed a habit of getting wonderfully distracted by the little things. A stubborn wildflower growing between rocks, the peculiar personality of a bird, or the way the mountains change color just before a storm. Those are the moments that tend to find their way into her art.
Her work is a colorful mix of curiosity, nostalgia, and a healthy appreciation for the oddities of nature. She isn't afraid to bend the rules a little, sneak some neon into a traditional Western landscape, or spend far too long admiring a particularly interesting flower.
Sara believes art should spark curiosity, tell a good story, and occasionally make you look twice. If her work inspires you to stop for a wildflower, wander down an unfamiliar trail, or get a little delightfully lost, she's done her job.
