Sara Slocum is a children's book illustrator and former game artist with more than 20 years of experience in the gaming industry. After leaving her full-time career, she chose to pursue her dream of illustrating children's books and working on meaningful, creative projects that inspire young readers.

She lives on a beautiful farm in Niwot, Colorado, with her family, three children, a dog, two barn cats, and a couple of horses. When she's not creating art, Sara enjoys spending time outdoors biking, skiing, hiking, and exploring nature. She strives to capture its magic in every illustration she creates.
