I am so pleased with my purchase from Free Range. Love the selection and quality of their products. Unique and eye catching. Will definitely buy from them again.
I love the vibrant colors! The pack has a pocket on the top that zips up and a snail mesh pocket in the inside. I use it for day hikes and to bring my climbing gear to the climbing gym. The only thing is I wish it had a loop on the top to clip a carabiner to. However it does have sewn loops on the shoulder straps that I clip my water bottle to. The shoulder straps connect with an optional chest strap. It is really comfortable and looks beautiful to say the least.
Plenty of room for everything needed for long day hikes and the zippered closure means nothing gets tipped out of the pack inadvertently. Easy access to the top pocket is nice.
The art work is AMAZING, and the pack itself is better even than I was expecting. nice pocket in the top flap, plus a pocket inside. Nice padding on the back so things inside don't poke me. Thanks, gang!
I bought a free range backpack with the Mt Hood design on it. The art work is amazing and the pack is sewn very well. For my purpose (traveling), it works very well. It can hold a lightweight jacket, snacks, some of my medical books, notebook, writing utensils, electronic stuff like ear buds, portable charger, charging cords, plug in charger for a vehicle or wall outlet, my wallet, keys, my PT bands, etc. it also will hold my iPad . My only cons would be no option to get a water bottle holder (via a strap or side option). Other than that it rocks!
