The Canvas Series is a Free Range collaboration with artists who live to get lost in the mountains. A portion of each sale goes directly back to the artist who painted/illustrated/imagined your print.
I used this bag for a summit bag on Grand Teton. The size was perfect for the gear that I needed to carry. I needed to attach a carabiner on the outside to carry my hat. it would have been nice to have a loop to secure my poles. There are times on the climb that you need both hands. With gloves on the zipper was a bit of a challenge (small), but not so much it caused any problems. I would highly recommend this bag. It was durable, functional and fashionable. I would compare this bag to the Cotopaxi bags ( which I saw a lot of on Teton), but much better quality.
Keep up the excellent work! You have an amazing product.
I love the canvas pack series so much. They're great for a day trip in the mountains, to the coffee shop, or under the seat on an airplane. This pack is especially lovely -- the art is versatile (non-gendered) and exquisite. These packs make such a wonderful gift, and are such a great way to support local artists.
We have a couple of these backpacks and it has become our go-to gift for others. It’s loved by all. 💙
There are so many things I love about this beautiful and wonderfully unique pack. First and foremost is the uniqueness of having so many choices of outdoor-inspired artwork to choose from to grace the body of the pack. The pack has a simple and elegant design, boasting a clean profile without too much in the way of extraneous straps, buckles, and zippers. There is just what you need. Aside from the expansive top pocket, all other pockets are hidden away in the interior. Fabric is not lightweight but an extremely durable canvas, so I feel like this pack will last for decades. If you prefer to drink from a hydration bladder, there is a large zippered pocket in the interior of the pack to slip the bladder into. Though there is no port for the hose built into the pack, the dual zippers of the main body of the pack can be easily adjusted to allow a space for the hose to come out where you want it to. I appreciate that the pack has a waist strap because there is ample volume in the pack for larger day-hike carries if need be, and the waist strap provides nice weight distribution. This has been a very comfortable pack as well. I appreciate also being able to support a cottage industry.
