I wore my free range backpack with Rachel Pohls painting of the snowy mountain cabin, to work at Steamboat Ski Resort and I get compliments on it everyday! Sturdy, with lots of pockets. I only wish it came in a slightly bigger size.
This pack is a wonder-- not only is it the perfect size for a solid day hike or ski trip, it is so comfortable-- easy to distribute weight bearing and load even on the move. So far this pack has been perfect for trips up Smith Rock, traversing the Oregon Country Fair, braving the windy deluges in Portland, carrying books and gear to class, packing home groceries on my bike...multi-talented pack! I've worn the HECK out of mine for the past 6 months and it has held up beautifully: seams, zippers, canvas, straps all still look fresh and work smoothly. In all seriousness I have taken to carrying some Free Range Equipment business cards in the secret inner compartment to give to folks who stop me on the trail to ask where I got my pack!! and the artwork is magnificent. Thank you Free Range folks! The ONLY downside to these packs is deciding which one to choose!
Every time I put my canvas pack on I feel so good. Just today on my backcountry ski, a fellow skier asked me where I got that beautiful pack. And it is soooo comfortable, holds just the right amount of whatever you need and looks incredible. The zippers are super functionary. The extra compartments are very handy and well designed. I rate this pack with 5 stars!
A sweet pack, that looks great in town and performs better on the trail! I've never had a pack that was so artistic and functional.
I would recommend this pack to anyone!!
I love this pack! I love it so much that I had to get one for my daughter! The artwork is amazing which makes me happy. More importantly, is the functionality of the pack. I literally use it for everything! I take it Mt biking, hiking, to work, travel.
It actually gives me an extra dose of confidence because it is such a cool pack. When you are happy, you are unstoppable!
