Raven
Raven
Purpose: Ski Mountaineering / Speed Touring
The Raven is built for no-excuse, fast and light ski touring. It features one main compartment which is accessed by the back panel only, as well as small quick-access pocket on top. An adjustable diagonal ski carry will fasten any size ski to the pack in seconds (though testers have found that lighter skis tend to be more comfortable, imagine that). And lastly, conveniently located No-Bonk pockets on each shoulder pad will hold all the sugar you need for a full day out. Pair the Raven with our shoulder pad mounted water bottle holder for an alternative hydration system.

Care Instructions
Care Instructions
First and foremost, your pack requires daily walks and adventures in order to maintain its well-being. And if you uphold these responsibilities, you may notice a light yet persistent layer of grubbiness form on the vibrant colors of your pack. When this happens, it may be time to give it the ol' scrub-a-dub. We've put together a short instructional video for your entertainment. Please enjoy.
- Remove backpad.
- Use any "grease" removal laundry detergent (here we use Spray & Wash with great success). Apply directly on pack or onto a rag or sponge and scrub vigorously over any dirty areas.
- Let the detergent soak in for about 5 minutes.
- Toss in the laundry. We recommend using hot water and then just not showering for a couple days to make up for it.
- Voila!

Carries like a dream. Obviously best with smaller loads and lighter skis. Front pockets fit bear spray, which is very handy for my area. Back panel access is also the way of the future, as you can have a rope lashed to the top of the pack but still get down to things stored in the very bottom of the main compartment. Best of all, it looks great and everyone asks about it.
I ordered the Raven backpack for my mountain-loving boyfriend for Christmas this year. The gift was a hit, and he fawned over all of its features. The pack is sleek, functional, and sturdy-- all around super high quality. Plus, the gift was also dropped off at my house in Bend. What service! Thank you, Free Range!
Have to fully take it out, but initial test drives on mini-missions are promising. The Raven is a "just enough" pack - easily handles the skis and gear, and easy on the body. I can't remember a mainstream pack as well built as this beauty. So stoked to get a full-day outing soon!
